Compliance Management
Every logistics stakeholder in a bonded warehouse agrees that SOX/STP/CT3/SEZ compliance is the most demanding, cumbersome and time consuming activity, as it is liable to statutory audits from STPI, Customs or Central Excise departments. In an event of breach of the compliance, the organisation has to pay a hefty penalty.

SOX Compliance
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) mandates adequate internal controls for both digital and physical assets. Fixed asset internal controls are a set of procedures that companies use to monitor and protect their financial assets. These controls are designed to prevent the misappropriation, misuse, theft, or unauthorized disposition of fixed assets. Publicly traded companies are required to have appropriate internal controls in place to comply with SOX.
Traxx creates a unique triangular bond between employee,location and purpose. Traxx provides live information on these three aspects and their relationship. This enables true representation of fixed assets in financial records and satisfies most of the requirements of SOX Compliance with respect to fixed assets.
Special Economic Zones
SEZs offer incentives and excellent facilities to attract investments for special purposes like exports. These zones have strict compliance norms for managing assets used for these special purposes. Traxx can be readily configured for most of the processes followed by different special economic zones.

Assets shown in the balance sheet should match with the assets available on the floor. Using Traxx to reconcile the Finance Asset Register with Physical Asset Register and by conducting asset audits on a periodic basis to eliminate variance if any achieves this efficiently.
